If you’re in for some serious performance, Apple has updated its Mac Pro line that now gives an option to integrate dual CPUs effectively giving users 12-cores to play with. The Mac Pro features Intel’s Xeon line of processors and promises 50 percent faster performance than the previous generation.
Additionally, the Mac Pros can now have up to four 512GB SSDs, ATI Radeon HD 5770 or HD 5870 1GB discrete GPU, two mini DisplayPorts and dual-link DVI port.
The new Mac Pro line will arrive in August with a price starting from $2,499 for quad-core Mac Pro and going up to $4,999 for 12-core goodness.
