RIM’s Blackberry Pearl 3G that went on sale last month in US has been announced for the Indian market. The Pearl 3G is the smallest Blackberry from RIM but packs top-of-the-line features.
The phone sports a 360×400 resolution display, 624MHz processor with 256MB RAM, 3.2MP camera with flash, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, optical trackpad, microSD card slot and 1150mAh battery capable of giving up to 5.5 hours of talk time on 3G network.
RIM India will sell Pearl 3G in two variants – one is 9100 that will come with 20-key QWERTY keyboard and other is 9105 with a conventional 14-key alphanumeric keypad. However, both the variants will support SureType software.
