Dell’s founder had already spilled the beans and today we’ve got the official announcement regarding the same. Dell Streak (formerly Mini 5) will grace O2 and Carphonewarehouse stores from early next month while US will get in summer.
Dell’s Ron Garriques says “Streak hits the sweet spot between traditional smartphones and larger-screen tablets” that features a 5-inch capacitive WVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and Google Android OS.
The Streak also offers various connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and integrates a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, GPS, 2GB internal memory with microSD slot making it expandable up to 32GB.
Streak will run Android 1.6 OS but will release Android 2.2 with Flash 10.1 later in the year.
Exact pricing and tariff details will be unveiled in a few days.
