Improved Speed and full Flash support are not the only things to look out for in the next Android version. According to TechCrunch – who’s also got a screenshot to prove – the new Android update will also pack USB internet tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot goodness. Of course, these features are available for quite some time on Windows Mobile devices but iPhone users are still deprived off it, unless they go the jailbreak route.
TechCrunch couldn’t confirm if these pre-installed features can be stripped off by cellular operators but since Android source code is open, there’s a good chance they’ll tinker with the build before releasing it to the consumers.
Google is expected to reveal the Android update at the Google I/O developer conference next week.
