Seagate’s enterprise-level Constellation ES HDD is bound to get a new addition. According to a source of Inquirer, Seagate is prepping a 3.5-inch 3TB HDD to launch it later this year. The drive will hail from Seagate’s Constellation ES Series that currently maxes out at 2TB. The 3.5-inch HDD is expected to support 6Gbit/s SAS interface and spin at 7,200RPM.
Other than that, Seagate is also expected to out a 2.5-inch 1TB HDD, which could proclaim to be the world’s highest capacity 2.5-incher.
