MSI India is making sure to please every type of consumer by offering slew of notebook models. As part of their 2010 notebook series, they’ve announced 14 models spanning across 5 series.
MSI’s G-Series, targeted at gamers will bring GT640 and GT740 notebooks. Both the notebooks come in 15.4- and 17-inch screen sizes with choices of Core i7 processors, Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 3D discrete graphics and Windows 7 OS. Notebook prices start from Rs. 88,000.
Users looking for an entertainment solution can go with the EX465 notebook. It has a 15-inch LED backlit display, Core Duo processor, HD4330 discrete 3D GPU and 6-cell battery. The notebook also boasts EDS ergonomic keyboard and ECO Engine to optimize battery life. The EX465 starts from Rs. 39,000.
The Classic Series also got a spec bump. The CR420, CX420 and CR620 now come with Core i5 processor that enhances performance by 20 percent. Additionally, these notebooks supports full HD playback, a slim and clean design, Chiclet keyboard and special brushed metal touchpad buttons. The Classic series price starts from Rs. 38,000.
Moving onto ultraportables, MSI is now offering X350, X420, X620 and X430 notebooks under X-Series. The slim and lightweight notebooks come in processor choices of Core 2 Duo or CULV CPUs, supports 3D boost tech for 3D computing, Chiclet keyboard, SRS support and LED backlit panel. The X-Series is priced from Rs. 45,000 onwards.
Finally, for those seeking netbooks MSI has Wind U130, U135 and tad expensive U210 and U230. The first two netbooks are now powered by Intel’s Atom N450 Pine Trail processor and are certified by the WiMAX Forum. The 12-inchers U210 and U230 go with a dual-core AMD processor claiming to give performance at par with standard notebooks. The netbooks support HD playback, HDMI-out and MSI’s regular features like EDS keyboard styling, color film print and more. The Wind U130 and U135 are priced at Rs. 19,000 and Rs. 21,000 respectively whereas U210 and U230 goes for Rs. 23,0000 and Rs. 28,0000.
