UPDATE: Turns out to be fake.
HD2 is one power packed device but the recent rumor says HTC is already working on the successor, dubbed as HD3. A forum poster at XDA-dev has posted the full specs, which is claimed to be taken from HTC workers.
According to it, HD3 will pip HD2 on every front. Expected in November this year, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor and feature a huge 4.5-inch multitouch display (1280×800), 1GB RAM/ROM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and include connectivity options like WiMAX, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If that is not enough, the phone is also reported to have an 8MP camera with Xenon flash, HD video recording, HDMI port, DivX playback, 3.5mm audio jack and up to 8 hours of battery life.
It does sounds too good to be true but I seriously hope HTC delivers a similar spec’d phone soon.
