LG was showcasing the slim and lightweight X300 notebook at the CES last week but now they’ve gone ahead and launched it in their home market. Weighing in under a kilo (970g to be exact) and just 17.5mm in thickness, the X300 will come in two variants – one with a faster 2GHz Atom Z550 CPU and other with Atom Z530 1.6GHz.
However, rest of the specifications are the same. The X300 boasts a 11.6-inch LED backlit display (1366×768), 1GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 64GB SSD, Intel GMA500 graphics and SmartON OS.
The X300 with Atom Z550 processor will cost 1,590,000 won (US$1414) whereas the slower X300 will go for 1,390,000 (US$1236).
