Remember we snagged a picture of Lenovo’s upcoming smartbook? Well, its got the official treatment as well as the name – Skylight. The Skylight is the first smartbook to go on sale and will be bundled with AT&T’s 3G plans. Skylight takes advantage of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor that has a speedy 1GHz clockspeed as well as graphic capabilities that makes HD playback and 3D gaming possible.
Apart from that, the Skylight possesses a 10.1-inch display, customized Linux OS, full-size QWERTY keyboard, internal flash memory with microSD card expansion slot, Wi-Fi, USB ports, mini HDMI connector, 1.3MP webcam and a whopping battery life of around 10 hours.
Skylight also has an integrated USB storage stick and OS interface integrating live web gadgets showing latest e-mail, Facebook/Twitter updates and more.
A bit pricey but Lenovo will sell Skylight at full $499 retail price.
