Sony has issued a recall of about 69,000 AC adapters sold with VAIO computers. The adapters were sold from September 2005 to October 2009 with VGC-LT and VGC-JS2 series computers and also with VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1 docking stations. Though no one has been injured till now, Sony says they’ve received four incidents of adapters short circuiting after the insulation in the adapter fails over time.
