The teardown specialist is at it again. This time it’s the PSPgo getting the treatment and has not one bit of interesting hardware. iFixit managed to open up easily and found the following:
– No internal framework to keep the innards intact
– Battery is easily replaceable but has a warranty void sticker pasted
– Shockingly, only 802.11b Wi-Fi. No support for G or N.
This clearly looks like a half-hearted attempt from Sony. Whatever the exact reason was, this gives us hope that a new PSP is coming soon. Maybe 2010?
