Microsoft today confirmed that first Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets will start rolling in October. The Windows Phones – as it will be known from now – will appear on retail shelves worldwide starting October 6. The new OS will feature a revamped IE browser, Adobe Flash Lite support, pre-installed Marketplace and MyPhone. Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn’t divulged any specific phones but says it will come in to suit different “tastes, needs and price points” from vendors like HTC, Samsung, Toshiba, LG Electronics.
