UPDATE: Sony has replied to the rumor.
Inquirer got lucky enough at the CES last month to score some juicy tidbits about the successor of PS3. Their source who happens to be from the Sony engineering team says that Intel will play a crucial part in designing PS4 because the GPUs will be developed by them. The source also claims that Intel got a good deal because of PS3’s good architecture, goodwill of Sony and also being in the good books of the Japanese giant. Needless to say, take this with a pinch of salt.
The article also speculates about GPUs of next gen Xbox 360 and Wii2. More over here.
