Mouse Computer from Japan has announced LB-F1500W netbook to compete in the Japanese market. The specifications of the netbook are rather customary except for one thing. This baby packs an optical DVD drive. Other than that, the repetitive feature set includes a 10.2-inch screen, a N270 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, runs Windows XP, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and Wi-Fi.
It is expected to retail by the end of this month for a Japanese equivalent of $729. Buying an external DVD drive and $400 netbook is still cheaper.
