Nokia finally took off the covers from its touch screen phone, 5800 XpressMusic. The phone better known as Tube is the first to run on Symbian’s Series 60 5th Edition OS. We would refrain it to compare it with iPhone but LG’s KP500 could be its next best competitor in terms of price.
The phone has a vivid 3.2-inch VGA touch screen display with an aspect ratio of 16:9, Carl Zeiss 3.2 megapixel optics with dual LED flash, Wi-Fi, stylus or plectrum support, GPS, HSDPA, TV-Out, 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth 2.0 and microSD slot supporting up to 16GB although 8GB card will be bundled with the phone.
The phone will start retailing from Q4 of this year for 279 Euros (US$387) and a Comes with Music equipped phone will roll out in early 2009.
