LG Electronics formally announced their 8 megapixel equipped Renoir (KC910). As we have mentioned before, the camera features of this phone are astounding. It has a Schneider-Kreuznach optics, Xenon flash, ISO 1600, geo-tagging and it also supports auto as well as manual focus. LG has also worked on a camera feature called as Touch Shot which enables the camera to focus on any subject when the user touches on the screen and the shutter is automatically activated when the finger is taken off the screen. There are two more Shot modes – Beauty Shot and Art Shot. Beauty Shot removes spots and imperfections from people’s faces, while also making them appear brighter and clearer in photos. On the other hand, Art Shot is a creative name given to the different preset effects a user can apply before taking a photograph.
Moving from its rich camera feature set, it has a full touch screen display, aGPS, Dolby Mobile for Music, DivX and Xvid video support, Bluetooth and internet connectivity options of 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi. The phone will first appear in Europe in October followed by Asia, Latin America and CIS in November, the Middle East and Africa in December and China will be the last one to get it in January 2009.
LG also made its intentions clear about launching LG-KC780, another 8-megapixel phone this month.
Introspective says
This phone review is good. Still, is there any good photos or video clips taken by LG KC910?
Biz says
I bought the LG KC780 and the phone is very good. But I have problem with music files in AAC format. If I upload them to the memory card, the phone very often crashes. Does anybody have similar experience?
