Pentax will soon be selling an entry-level DSLR K-m (K2000 in US) with the target market of first time DSLR adopters. It has got the features what you would expect from a DSLR yet easy enough to understand. It has an effective pixel rate of 10.2 megapixels, capable to shoot JPEG, RAW as well as JPEG+RAW images. The ISO sensitivity is not bad either which starts from 100 to go up to 3200. Other features include a 2.7-inch LCD, 5-point autofocus, enhanced dust removal system, 3.5fps for JPEG images, anti-shake and SD/SDHC card compatible.
Along with it, Pentax also announced two DA L-series lenses – smc PENTAX-DA L 18-55mmF3.5-5.6AL and the smc PENTAX-DA L 50-200mmF4-5.6ED.
