RealNetworks has sold more than a million song downloads since launching a 49c per song campaign. RealNetworks launched its one of the biggest campaigns to take down its rival Apple. In July Real also developed a software called Harmony which enabled the iPod users to play the songs downloaded from RealNetworks website.
Apple’s PowerBook pose a fire threat
Apple has recalled up to 28,000 notebook batteries that were sold with their 15-inch PowerBook. Apple reports that faulty batteries sold between January 2004 and August 2004 can overheat and pose a fire hazard.
