Apple will launch Fitness+ in 28 new markets, including India starting December 15, 2025. With this expansion, Fitness+ will be accessible in a total of 49 countries and regions worldwide.
What Users Get
Fitness+ offers a library of workouts and wellness content across 12 workout types — including Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation — with session durations ranging from five to 45 minutes. Users can stream sessions on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
Those using an Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3 can view live metrics such as heart rate, calories burned, and progress on Activity rings directly on their device during workouts.
Fitness+ also includes personalized “Custom Plans,” which generate workout and meditation schedules based on user preferences (activity types, duration, music, trainers). For those who prefer ready-made guidance, the service offers preset plans such as “Stay Consistent,” “Push Further,” and “Get Started.”
Other Content & Features
Alongside standard workouts, Fitness+ provides several supplementary content formats: a meditation library, guided audio walks via “Time to Walk,” and themed music playlists integrated through Apple Music. For this rollout, the service is introducing a new K-Pop music genre available across all workout types.
Requirements & Offers
To use Fitness+, users need an iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later — or an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer (with watchOS 7.2) paired with a compatible iPhone. In India, the subscription will cost Rs. 149 per month or Rs. 999 per year, and can be shared with up to five family members. For a limited time, Apple is offering a three-month free subscription of Fitness+ to buyers of new eligible Apple devices like the Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3 and the Powerbeats Pro 2.
