Airtel partners with Perplexity to offer Free 12-month Pro subscription

July 17, 2025 By News Team Leave a Comment

Airtel x Perplexity

Bharti Airtel has announced its partnership with Perplexity, providing a complimentary 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription to all of its 360 million customers across mobile, Wi-Fi, and DTH services.

Perplexity is an advanced AI-driven search and answer platform designed to deliver real-time, deeply researched, and precise information in conversational language. Unlike traditional search engines that list web pages, Perplexity presents clear, easy-to-read answers tailored to the user’s needs, with the flexibility to refine results using its self-learning AI capabilities.

While Perplexity offers a robust free version with core search functions, the Pro subscription elevates the experience for professionals and power users. Key Pro features include:

– Increased daily Pro searches per user
– Access to next-generation AI models such as GPT 4.1 and Claude
– Choice of advanced models for different needs
– In-depth research tools
– Image generation capabilities
– File uploads and detailed analysis

The Perplexity Pro subscription, valued at Rs. 17,000 per year, is now being offered free for one year exclusively to Airtel customers. This marks Perplexity’s debut partnership with an Indian telecom provider.

All Airtel users can claim their free Perplexity Pro subscription by logging into the Airtel Thanks App.
