We appreciate a good marketing campaign and Xiaomi recently marketed Redmi Note 14 5G’s durability in a unique way. With a mix of a billboard —at Connaught Place in Delhi, MG Road in Bengaluru, Marine Drive in Mumbai and Charminar in Hyderabad— CGI and live-action, Xiaomi markets the phone’s durable design.
As evident from the video, a CGI-enabled Redmi Note 14 5G pops out of the billboard and gets run over by a vehicle without taking any damage.
The phone went on sale earlier this month and features a flagship-grade Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 that improves the front drop resistance by 200% along with a thickened border to keep the display shatter-free. Additionally, the phone is IP68-rated, which means it’s protected against water and dust resistance, and is certified with TÜV SÜD’s 5-star rating that assures phone’s survival on marble surface from up to 1.5m drop.
On the specs front, the Redmi Note 14 5G is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, 50MP main camera and a 5500mAh batter with a 45W charging support.
