Asus GeForce RTX 4060

Asus has announced the launch of its latest lineup of graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 4060 series. Designed to cater to the needs of both new gamers and those seeking an upgrade, these cards offer high-fidelity 1080p gaming experiences, thanks to the cutting-edge NVIDIA Ada Lovelace GPU architecture and advanced technologies such as DLSS 3 and frame generation. The ROG Strix and Dual GeForce RTX 4060 cards are already available, while the Dual White and ProArt models are set to arrive soon.

Gamers who desire a perfect combination of power, features, and distinctive ROG styling will find the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4060 an enticing option. This graphics card shares the powerful cooling solution and cyberpunk aesthetic of its counterpart, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, ensuring optimal performance even during demanding gaming sessions. With a 3.1-slot design and a length of 311.4 mm, this card offers compatibility with both existing and new builds, requiring only a single 8-pin power connector.

Despite its compact dimensions, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4060 maximizes the surface area on its MaxContact heatsink to facilitate efficient airflow. Equipped with three new 11-blade ASUS Axial-tech fans, this card can push 21% more air volume compared to previous-generation models, delivering enhanced cooling capabilities. Furthermore, a large vented backplate allows for additional heat dissipation. Thanks to its 0 dB technology, the card remains completely silent under lighter workloads.

Opting for the Strix variant provides users with a premium package of additional features. They can choose between performance and quiet modes using a Dual BIOS switch, connect PC case fans to two FanConnect II headers, and illuminate their rig with a ring of ARGB tail-lights compatible with Aura Sync. The card also boasts reliable power delivery and excellent build quality, thanks to the Asus Auto-Extreme manufacturing process, ensuring long-lasting gaming experiences.

For gamers seeking a more understated aesthetic for their builds, Asus offers the Dual and ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 options. These cards share the same core specifications, including the powerful silicon and 8 GB of VRAM, as their larger sibling but come in classic black or white colorways, foregoing RGB lighting for a more muted style that seamlessly integrates into any build.

The ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 features clean lines, sophisticated colors, and contoured surfaces, making it an ideal choice for professional client-facing machines or those seeking to synchronize their system with the Asus ProArt ecosystem, comprising motherboards, displays, and peripherals. Additionally, purchasers of the ProArt model receive a complimentary three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, valued at up to US$238.47, making it an attractive offer for aspiring creators.

The Dual and Dual White GeForce RTX 4060 cards offer a few distinctive features. The Dual series also comes equipped with a Dual BIOS switch, letting users effortlessly toggle between performance and quiet modes as the situation demands.
