Chinese smartphone maker Doogee will start selling the V20 phone next month. It’s a rugged phone that meets the MIL-STD-810 standard to give the phone protection against water, dust, and accidental drops along with a “military-grade” carbon finish.
In addition to being highly durable, the V20’s claim to fame is the integration of dual displays. One at the front is a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display whereas the one at the back measures 1.05-inches that shows information like time, battery and notifications.
The Doogee V20 is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 700 processor and comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB internal memory and a microSD card slot supporting up to 512GB. It runs Android 11 out of the box and considering the phone as China-specific, we might not see official support for Google services.
On the camera front, the V20 sports a triple camera configuration with 64MP+20MP+8MP sensors and a 16MP sensor for selfies. There’s a 6000mAh battery and support for up to 15W of wireless charging.
The phone will go on sale from Feb 21 on AliExpress for $399 but for the first 1000 buyers, Doogee will sell the V20 for just $299.
