Optoma UHZ50 projector brings 4K resolution, HDR support

Optoma UHZ50

Optoma India has expanded its projector range with the all-new UHZ50. This simple-looking projector packs in some decent hardware for an improved home cinematic experience with richer colors, easy streaming options, and better durability with a long lamp life and an IP6X certification for the airtight enclosure to prevent dust particles.

Featuring DuraCore Laser Technology, the laser light source has a maximum brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens and a lamp life of 30,000 hours. The CTA-certified 4K projector supports HDR10 (or HLG) content playback and boasts 100% Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 Wide Colour Gamut compatibility with a contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1.

For projecting local videos and pictures, the projector supports Optoma Creative Cast app that can share from up to four different devices via Wi-Fi.

The UHZ50 also features an Enhanced Gaming Mode that brings 240Hz refresh rate and low 4ms input lag at Full HD resolution. The input lag at 4K is 16.9ms.

Rounding up the connectivity options are two HDMI 2.0 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port with eARC, and 2 USB ports for media sticks.
