If you have been tracking the availability and pricing of gaming laptops, they are heading south. Prices have been jacked up across brands due to the unavailability of GPUs, thanks to bitcoin mining and remote working, which has led to increasing in demand for laptops and desktops. Taking advantage of this demand, ASUS has announced its successors in the ROG TUF and Zephyrus series of gaming laptops.

ASUS TUF15 2021

TUF Gaming F15 and F17
Starting with the ROG TUF, these laptops now come with the latest 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processors. These are the ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and TUF Gaming F17. These laptops also come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series laptop GPUs. TUF series is known for its military-grade durability for a robust gaming device on the go. The new TUF also features fast charging offering 0-50% charge in just 30 minutes. You can even use a Type-C charger to top-up the battery via the Thunderbolt 4 port.

Sleek Eclipse Gray and bold Graphite Black colour options bring different looks to the new TUF Gaming F15 and F17. Both designs feature sharp lines and clean-cut accents, from the subtle, hairline brush strokes across the lid and palm rest to the textured honeycomb grip.

Comprehensive cooling lets those processors achieve their full potential. The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti runs at up to 1585MHz at 60W with ROG Boost, with another 15W available from Dynamic Boost, while the RTX 3050 ramps up to 1600MHz at 60W with GPU Boost, with an extra 15W on tap via Dynamic Boost. CPU options range up to the eight-core, 16-thread Intel Core i9-11900H CPU.

The TUF Gaming F15 and F17 also offer conveniences for everyday gaming and computing. A Thunderbolt 4 port provides one easy access point for fast file transfers, connecting an external display, or adding external graphics power. And a 90Wh battery easily goes the distance.
ROG Zephyrus S17 and M16

The new Zephyrus lineup comes with powerful new hardware. Powered with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs and paired with an Intel Core i9 11900H processors, the Zephyrus S17 features 17-inch two-panel display options, a WQHD 165Hz and 4K 120Hz, along with a rising optical-mechanical keyboard for an immersive and advanced cooling experience. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU that reaches 140W with Dynamic Boost, Zephyrus S17 delivers exceptional performance. Bolstered by ROG Intelligent Cooling technologies, these components provide an unrivalled platform for gaming and content creation.

While the Zephyrus M16 offers true portability with a 16-inch thin and light design making it a powerful device for gaming and beyond. ROG Zephyrus M16 is an 16-inch display laptop that fits in the slim 15-inch chassis. The Zephyrus M16 sports the same Intel Core i9 11900H processor as the Zephyrus S17. It comes with three laptop GPU variants, GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3060, and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

The innovative AAS Plus cooling system lifts the keyboard at a 5° angle, opening wide vents that allow the new Arc Flow fans to quietly pull cooling air into the laptop. Combined with liquid-metal thermal compound on the CPU, these enhancements let users enjoy powerful computing in a machine that’s slim, quiet, and cool to the touch.
