Optoma has expanded its projector lineup with the all-new UHD33 projector. Priced at Rs. 1,99,000, it is touted as India’s first “affordable projector” with a refresh rate of 240Hz, making it one of the preferred projectors for gamers out there. However, one thing to note here is that the high refresh rate gaming is only possible at 1080p with a low latency of 4.2ms. 4K is limited to 60Hz at input lag of 16.7ms.
As for its picture projection prowess, the projector is equipped with Texas Instruments DLP Chipset 7541, XPR technology, an 8-segment colour wheel for colour accuracy, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid-Log Gamma) support and up to 3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness.
The projector also supports ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio, 4-corner correction and projection size up to 300-inches.
