Combine the body of iPhone 8, colours of iPhone Xr and the processing power of iPhone 11 Pro and what do you get? The second-generation iPhone SE! Yup, after four long years, Apple has decided to refresh its one of the bestselling iPhone and it’s a mighty upgrade in most departments.
The reason I say most is because Apple has decided to keep the screen compact at 4.7-inches, which may be really small by today’s smartphone standards. But if that goes against the phone, it scores on the compactness, making it as small as iPhone 8 – perfect size for a smartphone. Moreover, the screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10.
iPhone SE is also powered by the latest Apple’s A13 Bionic chip that is found in the iPhone 11 series and has a glass and aluminium design that is IP67-certified and supports wireless charging.
The iPhone SE also comes with a single 12MP f/1.8 camera at the back, 7MP on the front, Touch ID instead of Face ID and battery life similar to the iPhone 8.
There’s no word on the exact availability in India but Apple will sell the iPhone SE in three storage variants with 64GB as the base variant at Rs. 42,500 followed by 128GB at Rs. 47,800 and 256GB at Rs. 58,300.
