OnePlus 8 series has been treated to a few leaks already. Today, we have the OnePlus 8 Lite that has been revealed in renders. This will be possibly the mid-segment phone that OnePlus will introduce along with the OnePlus 8 Pro in 2020. Thanks to @OnLeaks for these renders of OnePlus 8 Lite. This time OnePlus has taken a look that is similar to the upcoming Samsung A51 phone. At the rear, we see the curved glass panel with a dual camera setup on the left side in a rectangle patch. The front houses the selfie camera in the punch hole. Since the picture does not reveal a physical fingerprint sensor, it will be a in-display fingerprint sensor. Since this is a mid-segment phone, OnePlus’s decision to go in for a 90Hz screen seems to be negative.
The last mid-segment phone from OnePlus was the OnePlus X which was not accepted well by its fans and later OnePlus decided to focus only on flagship phones. However, with the OnePlus 8 Lite, this all seems to be changing, this can also be attributed to the intense competition from its own investor company Realme which has launched the X2 Pro for an attractive price of Rs. 29,999 and rivals like Xiaomi who continuously set a benchmark for value-for-money devices.
