Realme extended its X-series smartphones with the launch of its flagship phone the Realme X2 Pro. The device was launched in the UK recently and today it comes to India. The highlight of the Realme X2 Pro is its super-fast 50W VOOC charging which charges its 4000mAh battery to 100% in just 35 minutes.
Being a flagship phone, the Realme X2 Pro is powered by top-of-the-line hardware. The processor is Snapdragon 855 plus and comes in 8GB/12GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB storage options. The phone has a 6.5-inch dewdrop notch Super AMOLED screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen refresh rate is 90Hz which gives it a fluid smooth screen operation like the OnePlus 7 series. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and also liquid cooling to keep the temperature in check while gaming.
In terms of cameras, the phone sports a quad camera setup. The main sensor is 64-megapixel which is made by Samsung, there is a 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, 13-megapixel telephone lens, and 2-megapixel macro lens. The camera has a 20x hybrid zoom. For videos, the phone supports 4K video recording at 30fps/60fps, 1080p video recording at 30fps/60fps, 720p Video recording at 30fps/60fps and Slow motion up to 960fps. The Realme X2 Pro also features Video Bokeh Effect, Ultra image stabilisation for the rear camera and Electronic image stabilisation for the front camera.
Realme X2 Pro also thankfully comes with a 3.5-mm headphone jack which all the flagships have skipped. Realme also announced the Master Edition of X2 Pro which comes in only 12GB + 256GB variant in Brick Red and Concrete colours. The price of the device is Rs. 34,999 and will be on sale starting Christmas.
The regular version of the Realme X2 Pro in India starts from Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB/128GB version and the 12GB/256GB version retails for Rs. 33,999. The first sale of Realme X2 Pro will be Invite only sale, Invites for the sale can be scored by following Realme CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter. The invite sale will start from 12 Noon on Flipkart from 26 November till 11.59 AM 27 November.
Alongside of Realme X2 Pro, Realme also announced the successor to the Realme 5, the Realme 5S which is basically the same phone as Realme 5 but with a 48-megapixel primary camera. The 4GB+64GB variant will retail for Rs. 9,999 and the 4GB+128GB will retail for Rs. 10,999.
