OnePlus 8 leaked, will come with wireless charging

October 4, 2019 By Anish Leave a Comment

ONEPLUS-8 TT
While people are yet to get over with the OnePlus 7T and the upcoming OnePlus 7T Pro, the company’s 2020 flagship, OnePlus 8 has already leaked. Courtesy of @Evleaks and Cashkaro we have the company inside renders of the device.

The OnePlus 8 will be featuring a curved display like the OnePlus 7 Pro, however, giving way to the motorised pop-up camera is the punch-hole camera setup on the left side. At the rear, the phone retains the three-camera setup found in the 7T and 7Pro. One of the highlights of the phone will be wireless charging which OnePlus has ignored to date in all its flagship phones. As per visuals, the design of the phone is like the current OnePlus 7 Pro with the base housing the USB-C port, speaker grille, and SIM card slot.

In terms of hardware, it is safe to assume that the phone will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 865 processor and will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. On the software front, the phone will run on Android 10. The pricing of the phone will be interesting to see. Also since OnePlus announced the ‘T’ version of the phones within four months of the device launch, it would make sense for OnePlus to release the phone early next year and maintain a gap between the regular and ‘T’ version.
