WatchSeries5

Apple Watch is the largest selling Watch in the world. With this new Apple watch series 5, Apple makes this top seller more attractive. The new Apple Watch Series 5 comes with Always-On Retina display, built-in compass and support for international emergency calling directly from Apple Watch in over 150 countries, even without iPhone nearby. With the Always-On Retina display, Apple has made the information on Apple watch visible all the time to the user. For Always-On display, Apple has used industry’s only low-temperature polysilicon and oxide display (LTPO), ultra-low power display driver, efficient power management integrated circuit and a new ambient light sensor that is power efficient and offers all-day 18 hours of battery life. Apple has optimised new watch faces to take advantage of this new feature.

For navigation, the Apple Watch Series 5 now features built-in Compass with updated Maps. The new Compass app shows the users heading, incline, latitude, longitude and current elevation.

International emergency calling also works with fall detection, if enabled, to automatically place an emergency call if Apple Watch senses the user has taken a hard fall and remains motionless for about a minute. Powered by watchOS 6, the new Apple Watch includes Cycle Tracking app which gives its women customers the ability to log important information related to their menstrual cycles, the Noise app helps users understand the ambient sound levels in environments such as concerts and sporting events that could negatively impact hearing, and Activity Trends on iPhone provides a long-term view of their activity patterns to help them understand their progress. watchOS 6 also brings dynamic new watch faces, including Meridian, Modular Compact and Solar Dial.

Apple Watch Series 5 is available in aluminium, stainless steel, ceramic and all-new titanium. There is also a new Apple Watch Nike featuring a new watch face inspired by the classic Nike Windrunner jacket design, accompanied by new colours of the Nike Sport Band and reflective Nike Sport Loop.

Apple Watch Hermès introduces several new styles, including an update to last fall’s popular colour block band, a new Della Cavalleria print, and an all-black version with an exclusive Hermès gradient watch face.

The Apple Watch Series 5 – GPS version will retail for Rs. 40,900, whereas the GPS+Cellular will retail for Rs. 49,900. The already available Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) is now available for a lower price of Rs. 20,900 and Series 3 (GPS+Cellular) is available for Rs. 29,900.

watchOS 6 will be available for Apple Watch Series 3 and later on 19 September and for Apple Watch Series 1 and 2 later this year.
