Apple Special Event has it all as it unveils all the upcoming devices and upgrades. Besides the new iPhones, Apple also announced the new iPad with 10.2-Inch Retina Display, Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Support, and iPadOS. The new iPad is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip and comes in 32GB and 128GB storage capacities. There are two models of the new iPad, the WiFi-only model, and WiFi+Cellular. The new iPad has a 2160×1620-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). It also features 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps and Slow-motion video support for 720p at 120 fps.
This new seventh-generation iPad has 2X faster performance over the top-selling Windows PC for powerful multitasking and smooth gameplay in Apple Arcade. The new iPad is made from 100 percent recycled aluminium and weighs 483 grams for WiFi edition and 493 grams for WiFi+Cellular version. The new iPad now runs on iPadOS, which is specially designed for iPads. There is a redesigned Home screen, it supports Split View and switching between multiple apps using Slide Over. The iPad also supports Apple Pencil which can be purchased separately for Rs. 8500.
The new seventh-generation iPad comes in silver, space grey, and gold colours. iPad starts at Rs. 29,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs. 40,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. iPad will be available in stores in those countries and more beginning September 30.
