Truecaller achieved the 1 million premium subscribers number globally. With this achievement, Truecaller has rolled out new spam blocking features. Truecaller Premium subscribers benefit from Ad-free app, get to know who viewed their profile, call recording (Not yet available in Android 9 and above), a decorative premium badge, automatic updates and blocking top spammers, availability of extended spammers list (these are low volume spammers). We do not understand the concept of low volume spammers, ideally spammers are spammers, there cannot be any classification of the same. However, Truecaller segments them and adds them in the Premium membership. Another premium feature for India only, is the blocking of 140 series telemarketers number.
Apart from this all other features are available to free users. For India, Truecaller is offering the premium membership for Rs.10 per month.
