Huawei’s first phone with a pop-up camera, the Y9 Prime will launch on 1 August 2019 on Amazon India. The phone features a 6.59-inch full view LCD TFT display and is powered by Huawei’s Hisilicon Kirin 710F processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage options. It also supports extandable storage up to 512GB.
The triple rear camera is 16-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel, the front pop-up camera is 16-megapixel. The rear camera is AI-powered and can recognise 22 categories and 500+ scenes. The device also supports 3D portrait feature via both the front and rear cameras. This means one can retouch the portrait with studio-quality lighting effects.
The phone has a 4000mAh battery and uses a Type-C port for charging. The Y9 Prime runs on Android 9 with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0. It also has a rear-finger print sensor, however, misses on the NFC. The pricing of the phone is yet to be revealed.
The Y9 Prime is priced at Rs. 15,990 for the 4GB/128GB ROM and comes with launch offers.
