Apple in a surprise announcement today announced two new additions to its iPad range. The new 10.5-inch iPad Air and the 7.9-inh iPad mini now come with Apple’s A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine that boasts a performance improvement of 70 per cent with 2X the graphics and improved AR support.
The iPads also feature better Wi-Fi connectivity with Gigabit-class LTE connectivity along with improved front and rear cameras that are capable of capturing videos at 1080p Full HD resolution. Both iPads also support Apple Pencil that makes drawing or taking handwritten notes really easy.
In terms of storage, the iPad Air and the iPad mini will be available in options of 64GB and 256GB with Wi-Fi and Cellular support and up to 10 hours of battery life.
The new iPad mini starts at Rs. 34,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs. 45,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model whereas the 10.5-inch iPad Air starts at Rs. 44,900 (Wi-Fi) and Rs. 55,900 (Wi-Fi + Cellular).
