Amazon has a good mix of Hindi as well as regional language content in its Prime Video library and the next step to localise the service is to introduce Indic languages that will allow users to scroll through the app in their preferred language.
The first Indic language to be available is Hindi that can be easily changed from the settings in the app. We’re not sure if and when Amazon will add other languages but it’s a good positive step to localise the user interface.
Currently, users can choose from English and other foreign languages like German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese or Polish.
To change the language, just head over to the settings, tap on the language option and select Hindi as the preferred language.
