The successor to the OnePlus 6, the 6T has been unveiled by OnePlus in New York. Today the phone will be launching in India. The specifications of the OnePlus 6T are almost like the OnePlus 6, albeit it features a new in-display finger print sensor and a water-drop style notch. The entry level OnePlus 6T will now come with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB RAM. Besides this, there are two other versions, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
The colour options are same like the OnePlus 6, Mirror Black and Midnight Black. To give you a specifications recap, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor and features a 6.41-inch screen and it uses Gorilla Glass 6 for protection. It has a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel dual rear cameras. A gripe that we have from the OnePluts 6T is that it does not come with a 3.5-mm jack, considering the OnePlus community had voiced to keep the jack. However, OnePlus does bundle a Type-C to 3.5-mm converter but no earphones. The battery size has been bumped to 3700mAh and with Fast charging support. Out-of-the-box, the phone comes with Android Pie. OnePlus will also soon provide Nightscape (Night mode photography) to both the versions, the 6 and 6T.
The international US pricing for 6GB/128GB is USD 549, 8GB/128GB is USD 579 and the 8GB/256GB variant will cost USD 629. The phone is also available on T-Mobile in the US, however, it is SIM locked. The Indian pricing for the 6GB/128GB is Rs. 37,999, 8GB/128GB is Rs. 41,999 and the 8GB/256GB is Rs. 45,999.
