OnePlus 3/3T to receive Android P

It’s good news for OnePlus 3/3T users as the company has decided update this two-year-old device to Android P once it rolls out. This decision has come after listening to the users demand. Instead of upgrading the device to Android 8.1, the development resources are focussing on the Android P release for the phone.

The Android P update will be available on the OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5/T and OnePlus 3/3T, in this order. The Android P DP 3 release is currently also available for the OnePlus 6 which users can try to get the taste of. However, being a developer preview (DP) there are bugs in the OS.
