Asus has been on a launch spree on its home turf. After announcing the ROG phone and other gaming peripherals. Asus today announced the new ZenBook and Vivobook. It also announced the Vivowatch BP. Going further, they also signed Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) as a new brand ambassador for their PC campaigns.
New ZenBook notebooks include ZenBook Pro 15 (UX580), ZenBook Pro 14 (UX480) and ZenBook S (UX391). ZenBook Pro 15 and ZenBook Pro 14 run Windows 10, and feature ScreenPad. ZenBook Pro 15 comes with 8th Generation Intel Core i9 processor, GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU, 1TB PCIe x4 SSD, gigabit speeds with Intel Wireless-AC and Thunderbolt 3 ports.
ZenBook Pro 14 features 8th Generation Intel Core processor, GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q gaming graphics, 1TB PCIe x4 SSD and ultrafast storage by Intel Optane memory. ZenBook S is the winner of Computex 2018 Best Choice of the Year, Best Choice Golden and d&i awards. It is a premium 13.3-inch Windows 10 ultraportable notebook and meets military-grade MIL-STD-810G durability standards. The ZenBook comes with ScreenPad, that features adaptive functions with context-sensitive tools to enhance workflow and productivity and is fully customizable to allow users to personalize their experience. Currently supported apps include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and YouTube.
Next in the line are the VivoBook S15 (S530) and S14 (S430). VivoBook S15 and S14 are the first notebooks in the VivoBook Series to feature the new three-sided NanoEdge design that has even narrower bezels along the top and sides of the display. This gives VivoBook S15 an 86% screen-to-body ratio, and VivoBook S14 an 84% screen-to-body ratio. VivoBook S15 and VivoBook S14 are powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics. Both notebooks feature dual-storage designs, with VivoBook S15 featuring up to a 512GB SSD and 2TB HDD.
VivoBook S13 is the first ASUS notebook to feature a four-sided NanoEdge display with a remarkable 89% screen-to-body ratio. The incredibly slim 4.3mm bezel allows VivoBook S13 to fit a 13-inch display into a chassis size of a traditional 11-inch notebook. With an up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics, VivoBook S13 has the power to smoothly get any job done.
VivoBook Flip 14 (TP412) is a stylish new addition to the VivoBook Flip Series of convertible Windows 10 notebooks, featuring a 360°-flippable display that allows this versatile device to be used in notebook, stand, tent and tablet modes — or anything in between. VivoBook Flip 14 has a thin 17.6mm profile, weighing only 1.5kg, and features an ASUS NanoEdge touchscreen with a 6.15mm-thin bezel with an 82% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of memory and features up to a 1TB SSD. VivoBook Flip 14 is also equipped with a touchpad-mounted fingerprint sensor for one-touch login via Window Hello and also supports the ASUS Pen active stylus.
The Vivowatch BP monitors blood pressure with the embedded ECG and PPG sensors in just 15 seconds. Vivowatch also monitors the step counts, sleep, heart rate and analyzes health data with the help of Asus HealthAI smart technology. Asus claims a battery life of 28 days for the watch.
Asus also provided a sneak peek to the Project Precog, a concept device that is world’s first convertible dual-screen notebook equipped with AI. Additionally it showcased products like the Zen AiO 27 all-in-one PC, Lyra Voice 3-in-1 Smart Voice Router, RT-AX88U Wi-Fi router and AiMesh AX6100 Wi-Fi system (RT-AX92U 2-Pack), Mini PC ProArt PA90, and ProArt PA34V and VG49V monitors.
