LG will announce the V30 smartphone later this month but that hasn’t kept them to confirm some of the features that will make it into the new smartphone. The Korean company has said the V30 will come with a f/1.6 aperture camera and glass lens for the dual camera at the back. Interestingly, this will make LG’s phone the world’s first smartphone to come with such a large aperture, beating current ones like the Galaxy S8, HTC U11 that sports a sensor with f/1.7 aperture.
The glass Crystal Clear Lens will also help deliver greater light-collecting ability than a plastic lens as well as better colour reproduction.
Further camera improvements include less edge distortion by a third compared to the V20 when capturing wide angle shots, laser detection AF, optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation, all in a smaller size that is 30 percent smaller compared to the V20.
