HTC, in the last one year or so has been floundering in the Indian market due to questionable device strategy but it seems, the Taiwanese company has learned from its mistake as they have announced the U11 at a good competitive price. The HTC U11 comes in a shiny new Liquid Surface design and boasts Edge Sense that allows users to execute commands by squeezing the sides of the phone. You can configure the squeeze with short and long presses, for instance, a long squeeze can launch an app.
The Indian variant features Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by Snapdragon 835 along with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be increased with a microSD card. Furthermore, it features 5.5-inch display screen with Quad HD 3D glass, IP67 certified to protect from dust and water splashes, USonic sound technology, 12-megapixel Ultrapixel camera (front), 16-megapixel rear camera and 3000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
The HTC U11 is priced at Rs. 51,990 and will sell on Amazon by end of this month. Pre-orders will begin from tomorrow where a customer will also get a free HTC flip cover worth Rs. 1,999.
