The most anticipated phones from Samsung after the Note7 fiasco, the Galaxy S8 and 8+ were unveiled today for India. Surely, one of the best-looking phones around, thanks to the Infinity Display by Samsung, the S8 comes with 5.8-inch screen and S8+ features a 6.2-inch screen. Powering the phones is the 10nm Exynos 8895 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Both the devices are IP68 certified can thus can be used in water. The camera in the phones are 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel, they use USB Type-C for charging and the battery is 3000/3500mAh respectively.
The Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ also support a variety of accessories like the wireless charging, DeX Station to transform the phone into a PC, Gear 360 and Gear VR.
The phones will go on sale from April 29 and can be pre-booked at regular offline stores or can be pre-ordered on Flipkart.com. The phones will be available in Black and Gold colours. Users pre-booking the phone will receive a wireless charger free. The phones come bundled with AKG headphones.
The Galaxy S8 will sell for Rs. 57,900 while the Galaxy S8+ will retail for Rs. 64,900.
