The smartphone cum tablet, that is, the phablet market is getting competitive in India. Almost every phone manufacturer wants to cash-in the demand of the consumer. The Korean manufacturer, Samsung launched the C9 Pro that is in the phablet category.
The C9 Pro features 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and measures 6.9mm in thickness. The processor powering the phone is Snapdragon 652 octa-core coupled with 6GB of RAM. The internal storage of the phone is 64GB with support for external SD cards to increase the storage capacity. It can take up to 256GB microSD card and runs on Android 6.
In terms of camera, both front and rear cameras are 16-megapixel making it a good shooter. Other specifications include USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, FM Radio, LED indicator and 4K playback support. The device comes with 4000mAh battery. The phone also supports India-centric features like S Secure, S Power Planning, Ultra Data Saving (UDS) and My Galaxy.
The Galaxy C9 Pro will go on sale from second half of February in black and gold colour options for Rs. 36,900. However, the phone will go on pre-booking from January 27 with a one-time screen replacement offer for a year.
