Sony sells 50 million PS4s globally

Sony has confirmed that their PS4 gaming console has surpassed sales of 50 million units worldwide. This figure includes the original PS4, PS4 Slim and even the recent one, PS4 Pro. This is quite an impressive figure and a testimony on how well the console is doing compared Microsoft’s Xbox One.

PS4 recorded strong sales for the games as well, registering 369.6 million copies sold in physical discs and digital downloads.

Sony’s most recent launches in the PS4 family are the PS4 Pro and PS VR.

The PS4 console is sold in 122 countries globally.
