Netflix now allows to download content on its apps

Netflix today announced that its subscribers can now download movies and TV shows on their iOS and Android apps. This means, binging on Netflix content on an airplane is now a reality and while the complete library is not available for download, Netflix says they’re working to add more titles. For instance, Orange is The New Black, Narcos, Stranger Things and The Crown can be downloaded now.

The feature is now available on both iOS and Android apps across all tier plans.

The timing of Netflix’s move is interesting considering Amazon Prime Video is mere days away from being launched in many countries.
