Xiaomi rolls out the MIUI 8 Global stable ROM

Almost two months after the announcement, Xiaomi today rolled out the MIUI 8 Global stable ROM for its selected devices. MIUI 8 is a huge jump in terms of visual appearance and features from the previous MIUI ROM versions. The update is available via OTA to the following devices: Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S/Prime, Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note and Mi Max 32GB. All users of these devices will be able to receive the update over-the-air today.
