Asus has refreshed its Zenfone Max phone with updated hardware. The affordable Zenfone starts from Rs. 9,999 and now comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz octa-core processor and runs Android Marshmallow out of the box. Other features include 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with expandable through a microSD card (up to 64GB), Dual-SIM and 4G LTE support.
Rest of the hardware seems to be same as the previous variant and like 13 megapixel camera at the back with PixelMaster sensor, 5 megapixel on the front, 5000mAh battery that supports reverse charging to other smartphones.
Asus has also made some changes to the design, which now features a metal-like frame and options of colourful back covers like orange and aqua blue, in addition to the classic black.
The 3GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999.
