Better late than ever! HTC today announced its latest flagship phone – the HTC 10. The phone’s design is not a surprise, thanks to the number of leaks leading up to the launch but it’s good to see the Taiwanese handset maker trying to win some market share with a combination of powerful hardware and design.
True to HTC’s design mantra, the HTC 10 boasts unibody all-metal design but comes with chamfered edges at the back that gives the phone a distinct and a slimmer look.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s 2.2GHz Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB RAM and comes with 32GB of built-in storage with support for a microSD card slot. HTC has improved on the camera front and now comes with f/1.8 lenses on both the sides and OIS. The rear-facing camera is 12 megapixel UltraPixel one with 4K video recording support whereas the front is a 5 megapixel UltraSelfie camera that also supports OIS. Furthermore, the phone comes with BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers, fingerprint sensor, Quick Charge 3.0 support, 5.2-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display, 3000mAh battery that charges to up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
The phone will sell in colour options of Carbon Gray, Glacier Silver Topaz Gold and Camellia Red.
