As expected, Apple today announced a smaller-sized iPhone. The new iPhone SE will replace iPhone 5s with a similar screen size but will pack in hardware comparable to its larger-sized iPhone 6s. The iPhone SE is powered by the same 64-bit A9 processor that offers double the CPU and GPU performance compared to an iPhone 5s.
Additionally, the phone features a 12 megapixel iSight camera, improved LTE performance and faster Wi-Fi support, Live Photos, 4K video recording and Touch ID with Apple Pay support.
The iPhone SE will also run the latest iOS 9.3 that adds some new features like the Night Shift that makes the display colour temperature warmer to protect the eyes.
iPhone SE will go on sale in the US from $399 from next week whereas the phone will arrive in India in early April at a starting price of Rs. 39,000 for 16GB.
