We’ve some good news and bad news for Uncharted fans out there. Users wanting to get a taste of the game will be able to do so this weekend during the open multiplayer beta. The multiplayer will last through the weekend and will work even if you don’t have a PlayStation Plus subscription. Naughty Dog says the open multiplayer will allow to stress test the game’s server and enable them to test their networking and matchmaking skills. Do note, the multiplayer ends on 7th March.
Now onto the disappointing part. Although Naughty Dog is on track for the game to go gold later this month, Sony has made a tactical decision of delaying the release date by two weeks to “meet the considerable worldwide demand” and enable them to play the game on day one. In short, an extra manufacturing time for the discs will see the last instalment of Uncharted hitting the retail shelves on May 10, 2016.
